Hello, I’m alexis rice.
I grew up in small town Illinois, then moved to the beautiful city of Chicago after graduating from the University of Iowa to get started in this crazy industry. A few agencies and freelance gigs later, once the world began working remotely, I saw an opportunity to do something I’ve always wanted to—move to sunny California. Since then I’ve gotten married, moved across the country, and started a family in Charlotte, North Carolina.
I enjoy live music, reading, trying new foods, and traveling. My most recent concerts have included Royel Otis, The Goo Goo Dolls, and Big Wild. I read mostly thrillers , but also love a good romance that pulls at the heart strings; my current favorite author is Kristen Hannah. I will try any food once—that’s my rule, but my most-eaten cuisine is Sushi. I will end with a fun fact, I once swam with whale sharks in the Philippines!
I’m currently a Senior Art Director at Quigley-Simpson Agency, working on Chase United Travel Credit Cards. In my free time, I take on freelance clients to help create or build upon their visual identity through branding. Generally, I am an innovative leader with the desire to further my career through bold design and conceptual thinking. Nothing excites me more than a problem to solve.
